Ahh... summer.
It has reached its bitter end... at least in the sense that im not somewhere else anymore.... Lets review:
Durango, Colorodo- One week of hilarious fun with 3 of my favs plus about 40 hilarious guys including cowboy kevin, logan, and of course STERLING
Evart, Michigan- Two weeks of more hilarious and incredible fun at Spring Hill with my 100 new/old friends cleaning toilets and singing Disney Songs and such... Tag Team and Flower Power for life!
Suttons Bay, Michigan- 8 days of relaxing enjoyment with my parents and sister kayaking, running, and tubing lots. Mixed with a little hanging out with my BFFL Kent.
Rothbury, Michigan- Tiny town USA. 2 and a half days of different kinds of fun at the Double J ranch. I rode horses quite a bit as well as ran, sat by the pool, and talked on the phone til 3 in the morning while playing on a playground because that was the only place on the grounds with reception. PS the temperature at three in the morning in northern michigan after a rainy day is approximatly 45 degrees. I was in shorts and a tank top and bare feet.
Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, Tennesse- SO WONDERFUL. 5 days filled with 10 hour van rides, white water rafting, aquarium mischeif, hot tubbing, fast tracking, making loose bonds tight and tight bonds tighter, sleeping three to a bed, water antics, being eaten by a bear, Goodburger, hillbilly golfing, and O so much more. Loved it guys just LOVED it.
Last but not least. Bloomfield Hills michigan in which since leaving for CO, i had spent a grand total of one day + 6 days + 5 hours here at home. Though during those times i had spent the majority of the time in Grosse Pointe, Troy, Royal Oak/Birmingham(heck yes 80s night) and at Andover and Lahser playing midnight tennis and ultimate frisbee.
This summer has been BY FAR the best. Thanks to everyone who was involved in making it that way which the grand total of people is probably somewhere around 300 people if you include those girls from the amazing play-acting performance in the Double-J ranch town circle. |
